Doctrine
Three rules we don’t trade against.
They cost us work. We keep them because they are the only reason a claim from us is worth more than a claim from anyone else.
Describe the mechanism.Never assert the outcome.
We will tell you exactly what a system does and where it can fail. What it produces for you is yours to observe, not ours to promise in advance.
What it costs
It loses pitches. A competitor willing to forecast your revenue will always sound more confident than someone explaining how the thing works.
Never invent a number.
No figure appears in anything we publish unless we can point at where it came from. If we cannot source it, it does not ship, and that includes the flattering ones about us.
What it costs
It leaves this site without the metrics every other studio leads with. There is no user count on it because we will not publish one we cannot show you the source of.
Never manufacture urgency.
No countdowns, no invented scarcity, no deadline that exists to move you. When timing genuinely matters we name the reason and you decide.
What it costs
It makes us slower to close. Deals that needed pressure to happen were usually deals that should not have.
None of this is a code of ethics. It is a working method, and the reason to publish it is that a rule nobody can hold you to is not a rule. If we describe an outcome we cannot show you the mechanism for, or publish a number we cannot source, you are entitled to point at this page.
