Mateo Rojas designs the parts of a product that decide whether a stranger believes it.

The work starts at the end. Before deciding what earns a verified badge, decide what removes it, who can trigger that, how fast it happens, and what a user sees during the gap between a report and a decision. Designing issuance first produces a system where revocation is an admin button nobody has the authority to press.

A badge that cannot be withdrawn is not a verification. It is decoration with legal exposure, and users work that out faster than most teams expect.
